Accountant for Merowe
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Accountant to join our dynamic team at Merowe Group. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations in the Egypt real estate industry.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate and timely financial information.
Ensure compliance with local tax rules and regulations specific to the Egypt real estate industry.
Manage payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
Conduct regular financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Maintain accurate and organized financial, tax records, both in physical and digital formats.
Stay updated on industry accounting standards and implement best practices within the organization.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant in the real estate industry in Egypt.
In-depth knowledge of local tax rules and regulations related to real estate transactions.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) is a plus
